Town Meeting Minutes
Monday, March 5, 2018
The Mayor & Town Council met said date in a Regular Session at 9 AM in the Pollock Municipal Building, Pollock, La. The following members were present: Mayor Jerome F. Scott., Councilwoman Sharon Zeh, Councilwoman Deborah Tumminello, Councilman Ron Wilkins and Councilman Randy Estes. Councilwoman Penny Johnson was absent.
Mayor Scott called meeting to order, led in the “Lord’s Prayer” and Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor welcomed guests to meeting.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Zeh to approve the February 12, 2018, Town Council Meeting Minutes, with the motion being seconded by Councilwoman Tumminello. Mayor Scott called for those voting in favor signify by saying yea. Four yeas and none were opposed, 1 absent. The motion carried.

Mayor Scott opened meeting to Council: No comments.
A motion was offered by Councilwoman Zeh to introduce and adopt the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention (MWPP) Resolution for 2018, seconded by Councilman Estes. Four yeas, no nays, and one absent. The motion carried.
A motion was made to introduce and adopt a Resolution for Hazard Mitigation Plan for 2018, by Councilwoman Tumminello, seconded by Councilman Wilkins. There were four yeas, no nays, and one absent. The motion carried.
Mr. Bill Dean of Pan American Engineers had no comments.
Town C.P.A. Mr. Steven McKay had no comments.
Town Attorney Gregory Jones had no comments.
Town Chief of Police Report Chief Chris Paul was unable to attend the Town Council Meeting.
Town Clerk Judy Shelton disseminated the Town of Pollock Financial Report.
Mayor’s Report: Family Movie Night is scheduled to be held at the Town of Pollock Amphitheater (next door to the Town of Pollock Municipal Building), on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7:30 p.m. The movie, “Despicable Me”, will be shown. Seating is available in the amphitheater or individuals may bring lawn chairs or blankets. Popcorn, candy, and drinks will be served. Everything is free of charge. Mayor Scott stated, “I thought that this would be another great opportunity to bring our community family together or good wholesome enjoyment. I hope we have a good turnout and a great time. Please join us.”
A motion was made by Councilman Wilkins to adjourn, seconded by Councilwoman Zeh. Mayor Scott called for all of those in favor to signify by saying yea. There were four yeas, none were opposed, and one was absent. The motion carried.
